Organizing the Garden Shed

The garden shed has been finished for months now, but I have been so busy in the garden that I haven't had time to get the inside organized. So, I devoted an entire day to this task, and I actually enjoyed it! I wanted to create a cozy inviting place to sit and read, or hide, for taking pictures of the birds as they visit the garden for a tasty treat. I also wanted it to be functional, so that I can attend to my gardening projects such as repotting, starting seeds and overwintering some of my plants. I have a few more things add, but for now I think it will do.

I love this pillow, I picked it up at an estate sale.

Love your bottle tree with its jewel colors. Iowa Gardening woman has a similar one. They are so pretty! Couldn't see a spot to comment on it, so I am doing it here. Hope you don't mind.

Gorgeous. I'm jealous. And admiring. Mostly jealous, though. I'll work on it.

Love your garden shed! What a fantastic place to regroup and get away from it all. You've inspired me. My garden shed is an ugly, dark ramshackle place that I hate to go into. Now I've got some great ideas to change all that! Thanks.

Thank you for the interesting post. Steel Garden Sheds are the newest trend in market. They are easy to set up and long lasting. Furthermore they are a great money saver.

What a wonderful garden shed...I want one! Decorated so sweetly and everything so organized. I love this, but I can't put something like it in my yard due to the Homeowners Associations RULES:( I can't get past them...they are like spies:( I can't move because we can't afford it!! I love my home, though...so wouldn't want to go elsewhere; just 'sayin'...

I see now why gardeners or non-gardeners are so into garden sheds. They are just lovely to have one and the homey feeling seeing those sheds is just so comforting and warm.
